Custom Golf Schools
Learn to improve in any specific areas of your game that you'd like

Short game work

The Custom Golf Schools are private sessions for golfers who want higher saturation and more immersion than just a single golf lesson, where they can soak up a lot of information and get a lot of "hands-on" experience in a relatively short time. The custom golf schools are for individuals (or small groups of friends, family, co-workers, etc.). Each one is unique. So they can be tailored to any agenda and focus.

A Private Custom Golf School can be a high-immersion introduction to the game for an absolutely brand new beginner, or all about honing various skills for players with more experience.

We can do a custom golf school for you on one aspect of the game only, or we can work on multiple areas of your game. For example, we could focus exclusively on something like improving your fairway woods and longer irons. Or we could spend time on one or more specific aspects of developing a solid and masterful short game -- from consistent putting to long pitch shots. Anything you want to work on can be accommodated.

Working on fundamental mechanics

We can spend more time on the golf course and less time practicing, if that's where your interest is. We can just as easily not play at all and apply ourselves totally to refining your technique at the practice facilities. Or we can do a bit of both.

"My visit to you has helped me more than anything else that I have ever done to improve my golf game. My iron shots are 20 to 30 yards further and much straighter. My divots are straight toward the target."

Jim W.

more comments from students

We can work on scoring -- "how to play a golf course based on your strengths and weaknesses" -- rather than "how and why to get the club into certain positions" -- or vice versa.

Each golfer has their own unique problem areas and interests. Whatever it is that you want to focus on is the purpose of the private Custom Golf School, and I will provide a custom curriculum that fits your interests and goals. Players of all skill and experience levels are welcome. I am the only instructor. (Credentials below)

Schedule & Rates

There is not a fixed schedule for the Custom Golf Schools or the Long Drive Schools, as they are private sessions based on your availability, goals, etc. They are scheduled and priced on an individual basis. This chart will give you a general idea of the typical cost of the most common session lengths.

Golf School Rates *
 One student   Two students
 3 hours per day   $225   $300
 5 hours per day   $350   $500
* Includes golf instruction only - does not include travel, lodging, food, etc.
All first-time students receive supplemental materials, so the cost of the first session-only is $30 more than later sessions.
Green fee or cart fee may be extra for sessions that include playing on the course.
